School Eligibility and Transportation Application Forms
Published April 04, 2014
Parents/Guardians who will be sending their child off to school for the first time in September or who
anticipate a change of address may use the School Eligibility Search tool on our website to determine
the school attendance area for their child. Simply type in your home address , chose the applicable
School Board and program and the system will provide the name of the school and if they are eligible for
transportation to school from that address.
If your child requires a caregiver, please use the School Eligibility Search to make sure that the
daycare address is within the proper school attendance area and to see if transportation is provided
from that location.
Once you have determined the school to attend and that your child is eligible for transportation, you
must complete a Transportation Application Form. These forms are available on our website or at the
school. If transportation is provided from the daycare location, please indicate the address of the
daycare provider and whether it is a pickup, drop-off or both on the application form.
Please return the completed Transportation Application to the school. The school will then forward the
form to our office for processing. Once we have processed it, the information will be sent back to the
school and school staff will provide that information to you.
Transportation Applications should be completed and sent to the school as soon as possible.
Tri-Board will process them and return the information to the school so that school staff may
provide you with the transportation details.
How do I find out if my child's bus is cancelled or delayed today?
Published November 05, 2013
From time to time school buses will need to be cancelled or delayed for specific reasons, such as inclement weather, power outages, etc. Cancellations may come in the form of a general cancellation where all buses are cancelled or the cancellation may only affect one or more specific zones or schools.
In the case of inclement weather, it is a consensus that the Bus Operators/Tri-Board Student Transportation Services Inc. staff are in the best position to determine whether or not buses should run. In this regard the following will apply:
Bus routes that have been cancelled due to inclement weather are cancelled for the whole day. Inclement weather includes winter fog. Parents will be responsible for the return transportation of any student dropped off at school.
There are many options available to parents/guardians to determine whether your child’s bus is delayed or cancelled.
- All delays and cancellations are listed on our website under the “Is My Bus Running” icon. If there is a total cancellation of all buses a notice will be posted prominently on the home page;
- Parents/guardians may sign up for email notification of delays and cancellations by clicking on our “Sign Up for Bus Cancellations/Delays” icon on our webpage;

School Bus Safety Rules
Published August 13, 2013
School buses are constructed to keep students as safe as possible while they are riding the school bus. Another way of keeping students safe while they are riding the school bus or at the bus stop is to obey the school bus safety rules. These rules are available to parents, guardians and students on our website under the Safety tab. Please review these rules with your child and help them understand the importance of following the rules to insure the safety of everyone on the bus. Support by the parents/guardians is very much appreciated by Tri-Board, School Administration, Bus Operators and most of all the Bus Drivers.
